During 2012 I built an Observatory at our place n Sydney The CFO thought I was building a shed but I had other ideas. We agreed to call it the Shob and I left a space for her to hang a rake
The main build happened over 4 weeks with the design lifted from "Build your own Observatory" plus ideas from many forums

The running joke was a bet on how many trips to the local DIY store would it take to finish the job. I kept the receipts, it came to 72 unique trips but to date I have never totalled up the cost..
